Use

The application of polyisobutylene is closely related to its molecular weight. Generally, low molecular weight and medium molecular weight polyisobutylene can be used as oil additives, rubber fuel additives, sealants, coatings, lubricants, plasticizers and cable impregnators. High molecular weight polyisobutylene can be used as impact modifier for plastics, raw rubber and thermoplastic elastomer.
