| Product description | Hydroxyethylidene diphosphonic acid (HEDP), CAS 2809-21-4, formula C₂H₈O₇P₂, MW 206.03. Water-miscible, stable at high pH, low toxicity. Good scale inhibition below 200°C; decomposes above 250°C. Acid- and alkali-resistant. Forms stable complexes with Fe, Cu, Al, Zn, etc., and dissolves metal surface oxides. Low-arsenic grade: As ≤3.0 ppm. |
